Born from the seed of Kurt Cobain, Michael Andrade is a devoted lover of punk rock, Mucho Mango and badonkadonks. A self-taught photographer from Alexandria, Virginia who now resides in Washington, D.C., he has been documenting the DC, Maryland and Virginia music scene since 2012. His work has been showcased in Converse, Maximum Rocknroll, IN MY EYES, 9:30 Club, Alt Citizen, Impose Magazine, InstantDC, Hole In The Sky: (Pho)tography, Hole in the Sky: Erotica, Bandwidth.fm, Washington City Paper, DCist, DC Punk Archives, Maketto, RVA Magazine, Tom Tom Magazine and Dynamite Hemorrhage Magazine. He is also the staff photographer for D.C. record label Babe City Records.
